"Sometimes people are asked to tell others what God has done in their lives. A testimonial is a witness to what God has done in your life. Remember, though, God never asks us to witness. He asks us to confess. And to confess means to say the same thing as others. God does not want His church to listen to someone's witness unless they have been appointed by God to witness the life, death and ressurection with their own eyes. He'd rather have us confess, which we can do in the creed where we all say the same thing."
